Inspected by J. Batchelor Watch inspected visually upon acquisition. The case, dial, crystal and bezel present very well overall, with no significant damage identified from the visual inspection. The stainless steel bracelet and clasp show signs of previous wear, including surface scratching and marks. The most noticeable wear is concentrated around the clasp and lower portion of the bracelet and has been photographed clearly. Dial, hands, indices, date display and GMT hand present correctly. The automatic movement was running and the date and GMT functions were operating at the time of inspection. The exhibition caseback and visible movement present cleanly. Supplied with Seiko box, papers and original purchase receipt. Manufacturer specification states 100m water resistance; no independent pressure test has been carried out by Watch Season. Overall condition: Very Good Pre Owned.
The story

Watch 11 is this Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT SSK023K1, picked up for £218.48. It is exactly the sort of watch that makes the challenge interesting. Rather than simply chasing the biggest names, this is a genuinely useful modern Seiko with an automatic GMT movement, compact proportions and a full set including the original purchase receipt. Now it is looking for its next wrist, with every penny of the sale going straight back into the challenge.
Description
The Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT SSK023K1 is a compact, practical GMT that combines Seiko’s field watch styling with one of the most useful complications for everyday wear. The 39.4mm stainless steel case houses a black dial with bold Arabic numerals, a date window at 3 o’clock and a contrasting orange GMT hand. A fixed stainless steel 24 hour bezel allows a second time zone to be tracked, while the exhibition caseback gives a view of Seiko’s automatic movement. This example was originally purchased in Japan and comes complete with its Seiko box, papers and original receipt. The watch itself presents very well, with the main signs of previous use concentrated around the bracelet and clasp.
