Inspected by J. Batchelor The watch presents in good overall cosmetic condition, with signs of previous handling and light wear consistent with a previously owned watch. The black dial, hands, hour markers and day and date display appear clean and complete. The stainless steel case and rotating bezel present well, with no obvious significant damage visible in the supplied photograph. Both stainless steel bracelets are included, comprising one Jubilee style and one Oyster style, together with spare links. Supplied with original Seiko presentation box and paperwork. The movement's timekeeping accuracy, full power reserve, crown operation, day and date adjustment and bezel operation have not yet been independently verified. The manufacturer's water resistance specification is 100 metres. No independent pressure test has been carried out by Watch Season, so current water resistance is not guaranteed. Overall condition: Good pre owned.
Another fantastic find through the Watch Season community. I purchased this Seiko 5 Sports SRPD55K1 directly from an Instagram follower for just £75. A brilliant little deal and exactly the sort of opportunity that makes the £200 Watch to Rolex challenge so interesting. What makes this one particularly appealing is the choice of bracelets. The Jubilee style gives the watch a more traditional Seiko look, while the Oyster style offers a cleaner, sportier appearance. Both are included in the £150 asking price, along with the original box, paperwork and spare links. Affordable automatic watches like this are exactly what I enjoy buying and selling through Watch Season. A proper mechanical movement, timeless styling and a great package for the next owner. Another Seiko, another trade and another step towards the Rolex.
The Seiko 5 Sports SRPD55K1 is a modern automatic sports watch inspired by Seiko's legendary dive watch designs. Featuring a 42.5mm stainless steel case, black dial, rotating dive style bezel and Seiko's reliable 4R36 automatic movement, this is a fantastic everyday watch with plenty of character. The movement offers approximately 41 hours of power reserve, automatic and manual winding, hacking seconds and a day and date display. This example comes with two stainless steel bracelets, allowing you to switch between the classic Jubilee style bracelet and the sportier Oyster style bracelet. Supplied with its original Seiko box, paperwork, both bracelets and spare links. Price: £150 including both bracelets.
