Inspected by J. Batchelor. This TAG Heuer 2000 Professional is a vintage, previously owned timepiece and should be assessed with its age in mind. A complete cosmetic and functional inspection is required before the final condition grade is confirmed. The stainless steel case, rotating bezel, dial, hands, crystal, crown and bracelet should be examined for signs of wear, scratches, plating deterioration or previous repairs. The quartz movement should be checked for correct operation, including time setting, date adjustment and running accuracy. Crown and bezel operation should also be confirmed. Any original box, paperwork, spare links or service documentation should be recorded only where supplied with this specific watch. The original model was rated to 200 metres water resistance. No current pressure test has been confirmed, so water resistance cannot be guaranteed. The final listing photographs should accurately document the watch's condition and any visible imperfections.

Another watch sourced directly through the Watch Season community, and another TAG Heuer joins the journey. This wonderful TAG Heuer 2000 Professional came from Waleed, a follower of the £200 Watch to Rolex challenge, who reached out with a watch he was looking to sell. We agreed a deal at £280, and now the plan is to get this lovely vintage TAG Heuer back out into the world with a quick £80 gross margin. That's exactly how I want Watch Season to work. Finding interesting watches, connecting with people who follow the journey and giving each piece a new owner while building towards that eventual Rolex. The TAG Heuer 2000 is one of those watches that deserves more attention. It's got proper heritage, sensible proportions and all the character you'd expect from a vintage Swiss sports watch.
