Pre owned in very good overall condition. Visible surface scratches and general wear are present across the stainless steel case, integrated bracelet and clasp, consistent with regular use. The ice blue dial presents very well. The crystal appears clean with no obvious chips, cracks or significant scratches visible from inspection. The bracelet has been sized for a smaller wrist and no spare links are included. Exhibition caseback is intact and the automatic movement is visible through the rear crystal. Watch is currently running and functioning as expected at the time of inspection. Date function and crown operation checked. No original box or papers supplied. Watch only. Not pressure tested.
The story
A return to where the £200 watch to Rolex challenge started. The very first watch in the series was a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80, and now, several trades later, another PRX has found its way into the challenge. This time it is the highly recognisable Ice Blue 35mm automatic. The PRX has already proved itself as a watch that people understand, recognise and actually want to wear, so this feels like a deliberate return to something familiar after experimenting with more niche watches through the series.
Description
Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 35mm Automatic in the highly recognisable Ice Blue configuration. Reference T137.207.11.351.00. The watch features Tissot’s textured ice blue dial, integrated stainless steel bracelet and classic 1970s inspired PRX case design. Powered by Tissot’s Swiss automatic Powermatic 80 movement with approximately 80 hours of power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring. The movement is visible through the exhibition caseback. Specification includes a 40mm 316L stainless steel case, sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating, date display and 100 metre water resistance. This is a pre owned example and has been worn. The stainless steel case and integrated bracelet show surface scratches and marks consistent with normal use. The dial and crystal present well. The bracelet has been sized for a smaller wrist. Removed spare links are not included, so buyers with a larger wrist may need to source additional links separately. Watch only. No original box, papers or spare links included. Currently running and functioning as expected.
